Our Cognac XO is a unique blend of cognacs, matured in a selection of ten casks. This exclusive blend for Deux Familles consists of cognacs that have been aged for at least ten years before joining the final blend. Crafted from Ugni Blanc grapes, sourced from the Petite Champagne and Fins Bois regions, we then used traditional Charentais pot stills to produce our cognac, ensuring authentic and rich flavors.
The selected XO batches were initially aged separately in French oak casks (350-400 liters) that had previously held cognac (‘red’ casks). The final blend was then transferred to a batch of ten ‘red’ casks (350-500 liters), selected by the Cellar Master and then rested for 15 months in the gentle dimness of a humid cellar.
Bottled at 43.6% ABV, our Cognac XO retains all its qualities.
Amber with copper highlights.
A rich, spicy opening of sultana, candied pear, Christmas pudding, cinnamon, and clove, followed by warm, oaky aromas of toasted bread, Bourbon vanilla, and a nutty, cigar-like finish.
A harmonious blend of old port, candied orange, and plum, complemented by oak tones (Bourbon vanilla, toasted wood) and a lingering finish with hints of pale leather and cigar box.
On ice or neat.
Our Cognac Single Batch Madeira Cask is a blend of two lots of Fins Bois and Bons Bois cognacs, aged for six to eight years, combined and then transferred to Madeira casks to finish the aging process. These 225-liter French oak casks, previously used to age sweet Madeira wine, have imparted unique sweet, savory, and oxidized “rancio” notes to the cognac.
The cognacs that comprise our Single Batch Madeira Cask were initially aged separately in ‘red’ French oak casks (350-400 liters). To preserve their aging potential, younger eaux-de-vie were chosen to fully absorb the Madeira cask characteristics.
Bottled at 48.0% ABV, this cognac is non-chill-filtered, with no added sugar or caramel.
Copper with amber highlights.
Fruity and concentrated aromas of raisin, prune, and sweet wine, complemented by balsamic and delicate oak notes (toffee, coconut, whiskey lactone). A fresh and mineral bouquet.
A perfect balance of fruitiness and oak, featuring dry plums, ripe grapes, and a hint of wine and nuts.

Our Single Cask Cognac is sourced from one of three barrels acquired in 2012 from Mr. Julien André, an esteemed winegrower and distiller in Grande Champagne. When we obtained the cognac, it had already been aged for 60 years.
Grande Champagne cognacs are celebrated for their finesse and exceptional aging potential, crafted from grapes nurtured in limestone-rich soils.
This cognac was distilled in Criteuil-La-Magdeleine at Le Logis de la Motte and was separated into three 400-liter barrels. Our former Cellar Master, Pierre Guérin, selected an 80-year-old Limousin oak cask, which had previously been used exclusively for cognacs from the paradise cellar.
Amber with golden hues.
Elegant, with the minerality typical of premier cru Grande Champagne. Despite its 60+ years in the barrel, it retains freshness and acidity.
Intensely concentrated and complex, with exotic notes of pineapple and passion fruit, indulgent flavors of Christmas pudding, Dominican tobacco, and sultanas, finishing with a mineral and acidic rancio reminiscent of fine aged rums.
Neat.
